Allison Duffy Larson
Influenced at a young age by her father’s passion for electric vehicles, Allison Duffy Larson understood early on the importance of the clean energy revolution to the future of our country. After graduating with a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, she pursued work in the natural resource management field, eventually earning a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science.
In 2006, Duffy Larson joined Solectria Renewables, an emerging solar inverter manufacturer. Over her 12-year career, she earned top performer status in sales and business development, witnessed the sale and participated in the transition of the company to Yaskawa Inc. Duffy Larson also represented equipment manufacturers on the board of the PV industry association, CALSSA. Through her work, she gained an understanding of the electronics that power solar electrical projects, which in many ways, are common to electric drive vehicles. In 2018, Duffy Larson left Yaskawa to join the Trams International team as Chief Operating Officer.
